Basic Workplace Experience Course

C. Corporate Real Estate

Description
The Corporate Real Estate course is designed to provide fundamentals and common language to create a successful workplace organization. During these six modules, the key functional disciplines that impact the footprint and transactional aspect of an organization will be presented.

Corporate Real Estate has interdependencies to functional pillars, from Strategy, to Transactions, Project Management, Facility Management, the general workplace experience, and Corporate Services. We will touch on each pillar, along with a variety of shared services, such as Employee Health and Safety, IT/Technology, Risk Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), all of which are critical to creating a well-balanced work experience.

In summary, Corporate Real Estate is the glue that brings together and touches all parts of an organization. Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) provides a sustainable and structured approach to delivering an “unstructured and agile" workplace. As a Corporate Real Estate leader, understanding your client and creating your own toolkit of solutions will offer the valuable resource they need in an ever changing world. Importantly, the course will provide a framework of steps in the process and how to “get started”…
